What roles do volunteers support?

Teaching Assistance

  • Support the lead artist in sessions

  • Help set up and pack down spaces

  • Observe, learn and contribute creative ideas

Administration & Monitoring

  • Record attendance and gather feedback

  • Support with paperwork, reports and materials

Social Media & Marketing

  • Create and schedule posts

  • Help design flyers and newsletters

  • Engage with our online community

Performance Support

  • Assist with rehearsals, logistics and backstage tasks

  • Support participants and audiences during events

Do I need a DBS check?

Yes. As our work involves children and vulnerable adults, an enhanced DBS check is required. DanceWest will support you with this.

Where does your activity take place?

Programmes and activities take place across West London.

Do you provide training?

Yes. Volunteers receive training in:

  • Safeguarding

  • GDPR

  • Health and Safety

  • We can also support First Aid and Mental Health First Aid training.
