DanceWest Party Host (Weekends)

Location: DanceWest Studio, SW6
Rate: £13.85 per hour (London Living Wage)
Reports to: Studio Manager
Contract: Freelance/ Weekends/ Evenings

DanceWest is looking for a friendly, reliable Party Host to support parties and studio events. The role involves welcoming guests, helping activities run smoothly, maintaining a safe and tidy environment, and ensuring everyone has a positive experience throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and closing up the venue.

• Welcome guests on arrival.

• Support set up and pack down of party spaces and equipment.

• Serve refreshments and birthday food where required.

• Keep studio and communal areas clean and presentable during events.

• Monitor guest safety and report any concerns to the Duty Manager.

• Support with checking party schedules and timings.

• Provide excellent customer service throughout the event.

  Essential

• Friendly, approachable and confident with children and families of all ages.

• Reliable and punctual.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Able to stay calm and organised in a busy environment.

• Willing to work weekends and occasional evenings.

  
  Desirable

• Experience working at children’s parties, events, hospitality or dance settings.

• Interest in dance, theatre or creative arts.
