Ben Fury at DanceWest

DanceWest has been offered the exciting opportunity to work with dancer and choreographer Mohamed Benaji (Ben Fury) as part of his first London residency week, hosted by Shubbak Festival. As part of a week of immersion and exchange with valued community partners and groups, Ben will be collaborating with Dance West on a number of workshop deliveries across their current Bolder Not Older, Youth Company, and Move it Mondays programmes. Supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

Riverside Rhyme!

Riverside rhymes is designed for children under 4 and their carers. Through movement, music and creative play the sessions support the development of literacy, phonetics and inspire storytelling. Each session is delivered by a team of DanceWest teachers. £5.00 book here

Disco at Riverside Studios!

In partnership with DanceWest, encouraging people of all ages to get down on the dance floor, throw some shapes at an intergenerational disco. There’ll be Dad dancing, baby bopping and granny grooving. Dust off your dancing shoes and join us under the glitter ball for a family friendly daytime disco.

Community Dance Teachers for adults 65+

We are looking to expand our pool of exceptional community dance teachers, to deliver Bolder not Older our programme for adults 65+ in care homes, community centers and sheltered accommodation.

Applicants must have a minimum of five years, experience teaching dance in community settings for vulnerable adults. We are interested in hearing from people that represent the BAME community (BAME definition - Black, Asian, and minority ethnic), community dance teachers that live in West London and community dance teachers with experience of delivering dance to adults with Parkinson’s Dementia and Alzheimer's.
