Summer term Timetable
Our classes run from 20 April - 3 July 2026 for (10 weeks). There are no classes during the half term break which will be from 25 to 31 May.
Frequently asked questions
Do parents stay?
Parents are welcome to watch the first couple of sessions. We then encourage children to take part independently, we have a waiting area, café, bar and grill available on site for parents during the classes.
What should my child bring?
Please bring a water bottle.
What should my child wear?
Children should wear loose, comfortable clothing suitable for movement and arrive dressed in their dance kit. DanceWest t-shirts are available to purchase.
Attending independently
Young people are welcome to attend on their own. We ask that travel arrangements are communicated to us in advance.
Are there opportunities for performances or exams?
Yes, we hold end-of-term sharings, culminating in a biannual festival.
What shoes are required?
Bare feet for lyrical and contemporary classes
Trainers for street and hip hop classes
Is there parking nearby?

How many children are in each class?
Classes are kept small, with a maximum of 20 participants.
What experience level is required?
No experience is necessary, except for Youth Dance Co, which is by audition.
