Supporting DanceWest after school and evening class programme. The post-holder will work 25 hours over 3-4 days between Monday to Saturday. This is a part time, temporary role.
Main duties and responsibilities
· To sign in people to the classes.
· To manage the phone
· To support the public to book into classes
· To prepare registers for teachers
· Responding to day to day telephone and email enquiries.
· To process and coordinate online sales
· To code and administrate prompt payment of invoices.
· Maintaining and updating mailing lists and contact details on databases
· Support to manage the attendance monitoring Marketing and Communication
· Attend and participate in team meetings
· To adhere to and demonstrate understanding and commitment to equal opportunities, customer care and professionalism.
· To adhere to the DanceWest equality, data protection, child protection and vulnerable adult’s policies.

We are delighted to announce that we have partnered with Age UK Westminster to offer an exciting programme. We will launch our programme and partnership at Silver Sunday 2021, by offering a Day of Dance! Weekly classes will be announced at the event as well as the chance to try a range of styles.

The One Dance UK Awards are an annual celebration for people from across the dance sector to unite, celebrate, acknowledge and reward the people who have made an impact on the vibrant UK dance landscape! Week one of our summer school was an incredible success. 33 children aged 5-10 years took part in a full week of activity from 9am-3pm each day. From Musical Theatre, Latin, Hip-Hop and Yoga each day the children had access to four different dance styles. ‘I made seven friends’ ‘My favourite thing was Musical Theatre’ and ‘I felt chilled out after Yoga’.

We are delighted to announce that you can now vote for DanceWest in store for the Tesco Community Grant. It’s a scheme which gives community projects like us grants of up to £1,500. We have applied to support our work for Disabled and Learning Disabled Children.
Tesco customers will now vote in Fulham, Hammersmith, Askew Road, Shepherds Bush and White City in store during July & August to decide how much funding we get, so please support us next time you shop at Tesco!

We have intergenerational dance classes, as well as sessions for families, children and dance adults 55+. Supported by Hammersmith and Fulham, sports development.

In partnership with Hammersmith Bid. We are delighted to launch a brand new programme for our colleagues in the borough working from home. Delivered every Tuesday morning in June, this activity provides a gentle and efficient way to stretch at your desk at the start of your working day. Screen users all suffer to some extent from tight shoulders, necks and backs from repetitive movements, static pose and a lack of attention to our posture. Deskercise allows participants to release stress and spark some energy with a quick bout of seated dancing. Further details here
