DanceWest Networking
On Tuesday evening (14 July), DanceWest hosted an event attended by over 50 dance professionals to inspire a fresh vision for dance across West London.
Rosie Whitney-Fish, Founder of DanceWest says: "This has been a great opportunity for the dance community, artists and organisations to meet together and kick start a conversation about the future of dance in West London. We're passionate about the benefits dance can to bring to our local communities. There's a growing appetite for dance in this part of London and a key part of DanceWest vision is to support the existing dance scene alongside exploring new ways to reach to wider audiences." The networking event is the first of a series of meet-ups for dancers, choreographers, teachers and producers based in West London to hear about forthcoming programming, exchange ideas and forge stronger working relationships.
Frame: The London Dance Film Festival
Frame: The London Dance Film festival is a major event produced by BalletBoyz and the international Music + Media Centre (IMZ Vienna) which will take place next June. Screenings of feature length films alongside competitive shorts will be accompanied by a public programme of events alongside industry workshops led by prominentfigures in broadcasting, music and dance. DanceWest are working in partnership with BalletBoyz to deliver a West London schools competition and to curate a series of public programmes. More to follow!

DanceWest announces Dance Class and Masterclass programme
Delivered in the beautiful new dance studio at the Lyric Hammersmith. Classes are friendly, inspiring and based in contemporary dance technique. DanceWest announce a programme for Children 5-11 years, young people 11-17 years and adults. See our classes page for more details.

DanceWest launches (February)
DanceWest launched in February 2015 becoming a named partner of the Lyric Hammersmith. DanceWest will play a pivotal role in nurturing talent, programming dance performances and providing affordable dance classes for children, young people and adults across West London.
