A Tea Dance with a Difference

DanceWest is proud to present: A Tea Dance with a Difference. Supported by Savills and Hammersmith & Fulham Council opened by the Mayor of Hammersmith & Fulham Cllr Patricia Quigley. Taking place on Friday 9th of February at Sands End Arts & Community Centre. Our guests took part in a co-curated afternoon of live entertainment, refreshments and dance classes. DanceWest - Director

We are seeking to appoint a Director to spearhead the management and growth of our charitable organisation. The Director will oversee all operational, financial, fund- raising and technical aspects of the organisation. The successful candidate will have a successful track record of working in the sector. The candidate must possess the skills to build strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders including service users, staff, trustees, partners and supporters.

DanceWest produced a series of workshops for Action on Disabilty’s summer school! The programme worked towards a special performance for family and friends!

On Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th of August DanceWest worked with dancers from Beijing. The young dancers in training took part in taster workshops and activities!
DanceWest Holiday Club

DanceWest Fest: Established Artists 19-20 May

On 19-20 May DanceWest produced a platform for established artists at the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith.
As a way of reigniting our dance festival, DanceWest Fest. Supported by Arts Council England and attended by 374 people, we presented new choreography by Lea Anderson, Jamaal Burkmar, Gerrard Martin and James Wilton.
These talented artists pushed boundaries, blending different styles and captivated our audiences with their innovative performances. Next up we move to the Rose Theatre in Kingston where we have produced two large scale platforms. Opening the platforms are two emerging artists and taking part are 340 community dancers aged 5-85 years. Read more here
Dance in the Park: A free programme announced for children & young people
