Freelance Primary Dance Teachers needed

Contract: September - December 2019 & January-March 2020

Location: Primary Schools across West London.

Rates of pay: £10-£15K pro rata/ typically £35-£55 per hour.

Hours of work: Dance Classes are one hour long, teachers are asked to arrive 15 minutes early and stay to close the session for 10 minutes.

We are expanding our pool of freelance dance teachers to support our programmes in West London Primary Schools. We are interested to hear from teachers who specialise in teaching different dance styles but have at least three-years teaching experience with Primary School aged children and experience of working in the curriculum and after school hours. This is a freelance position, DanceWest will provide a contract for all teachers.

Volunteer Dance Teacher Assistant

Contract: April-July 2019, September - December 2019 & January-March 2020

Location: Lyric Hammersmith, W60QL

Hours of work: 16.00-19.30

We are looking for volunteers to support us in our classes at Lyric Hammersmith. The role would suit a dance student or recent graduate looking to build their career as a dance teacher, with passion for making dance accessible for all. This is a volunteer opportunity but we can offer free access to our Adult Contemporary Dance Classes on Wednesdays 7:30pm at Bush Theatre, details can be found here: http://www.dancewest.co.uk/contemporaryadults

Duties include

  • To support classes registration

  • To welcome the young people

  • To support the lead teacher in facilitating the sessions

  • To demonstrate and be willing to share and show
