Councillor Malcolm Self, Portfolio Holder for Culture and Heritage at Kingston Council, said: “Ignition Dance Festival is a brilliant blend of professionals and community groups coming together to celebrate the power and beauty of dance.

“It is one of many events taking place in Kingston with the aim to encourage creativity and culture across the borough, and inspire more people to get involved in the arts.”

Kathryn Woodvine, Arts Commissioner for Kingston Council and co-founder of the festival said: "When Ignition started five years ago we had no idea that it would grow to become such an amazing festival and celebration of incredible dance talent.
